Training Camp on Sugarcane Cultivation

In Ayankalaiyamuthur, near Palani a Training camp is to be conducted for six days from today on using Machineries in the cultivation of Sugarcane.
The Agricultural Engineering Department is conducting this Occupational Training course and the program Schedule is as follows.
1st day – Demo of using Agriculture Equipments
2nd and 3rd day – Mr.Senthil kumar, Employee of Amaravathy Sugar Factory, briefs on the Equipments and Machines used in the Sugar Factory and Mr.Ravichandran, Assistant Engineer at Agricultural Engineering Department briefs on cultivation of Sugarcane, Paddy and Other Pulses. Videos on those would be played. Thaaliyam Veterinary Doctor Mr.Manikkavasagam briefs on breeding of Cattles.
4th day – Engineers Manikkavasagam and Kumaresan briefs about how to Improve irrigation, make seeds, drip irrigation and pest control.
5th day – 20 trainees are taken to visit amaravathy sugar factory, Coimbatore Agricultural University and Sugarcane Breeding Institute.
6th day – Engineer Muniappan briefs on the water fertility and land fertility. In the evening at the end of the training period certificates will be distributed and Mr.Nagarajan, AO, Palani.
