Special centres set up

oddanchatram-special-centersSpecial centres for issuance of various certificates have been set up at firka levels for the convenience of persons seeking community, income and other certificates here on Monday.

Such measure will prevent applicants from running from one place to another for verification of documents at various levels and avoid unnecessary time delay.

Public may submit applications at respective firkas on June 4.

Necessary verifications will be done by the officers at firka levels and certificates issued to applicants on June 11.

Village Administrative Officer, Revenue Inspector and Tahsildar will do the job quickly.

They will issue community certificate, first degree in the family certificate, income and residential proof certificates on the spot.

The centres have been functioning at Sanarpatti, Kambiliampatti, Dindigul north, Siluvathur, Dindigul South, Reddiyarchatram, Palakkanurthu, Dharmathupatti in Dindigul block, Athoor, Iyyampalayam, Chinnalapatti in Athoor block, Natham, Sendurai and Reddiyapatti in Natham block, Viruveedu, Batlagundu, Pillaiyarnatham, Oruthattu and Nilakottai in Nilakottai block, Thoppampatti, Ayakudi, Gorikadavu, Pamppampatti, Neikarapatti and Palani in Palani block, Chinnkkampatti, Puliyurnatham, Kallimandhayam, Devathur, Oddanchatram in Oddanchatram block, Kotta Natham, Palayam, Eriyode, Kovilur, Vadamadurai, Iyyalur and Vedasandur in Vedasandur block and Kodaikanal, Thandigudi and Pannaikadu in Kodaikanal block.

Tahsildars, zonal-level Deputy Tahsildar, special Tahsildar (refugees), Tuluk Supply Officers, Divisional Excise Officers and Special Tahsildars (four lane) will head these centres.

When contacted, Collector M. Vallalar said that officials in the rank of sub-collector would monitor these centres and ensure speedy distribution of certificates. Public may submit applications to these officials at the respective centres.

The head of the centres will invite respective Revenue Inspectors and Village Administrative Officers to the centres and do all verification at the centre itself to scale down time delay.

After verification, they will issue certificates to the public. Applicants could collect the certificates from the centre.

The public should utilise this opportunity and get required certificates easily, the Collector added.
